IX LINES & ANGLES : ASSIGNMENT

1.      If two lines intersect, then prove that the vertically opposite angles are equal.
2.      Prove that the sum of the interior angles of a triangle is 180º.
3.      If a side of a triangle is produced, then prove that the exterior angle so formed is equal to the sum of the two interior opposite angles.
4.      In Fig lines XY and MN intersect at O. If  angle POY = 90° and a : b = 2 : 3, find c.

5.      In Fig. , AB || CD and CD || EF. Also EA is perpendicular to AB. If  angle BEF = 55°, find the values of x, y and z.

6.      In Fig., if PQ || ST,  angle PQR = 110° and  angle RST = 130°, find angle QRS
